Synopsis[]
After successfully establishing a foothold in Durham and cleansing the city of some of its corruption, William James Moriarty sets his sights on London. To make headway there, he needs the aid of his brother Albert. But while on his way to London, William is kidnapped by a gang of criminals! Will Albert be able to save him in time?
Summary[]
Opium leads the Moriarty family to London again. Albert has his troops stationed in advance and William leads the mafia into a trap to take them out at once.
William’s ideals shift to greater extremities. He compares London to a stage and murder is the play. He meets Sherlock on a cruise liner. Sherlock naturally catches onto William’s schemes of baiting a blood thirsty noble with prejudice in his foundation of character to murder a civilian. He exposes the noble murdering the civilian to the main crowd mom the ship. Sherlock discreetly addresses this with William, but makes no accusation as he's not certain yet who the mastermind is.
William informs his friends that a detective will be taking stage to his plan as the protagonist. Sherlock returns home and is confronted by Miss Hudson. She is his landlord and demands rent. Sherlock is without money and searches for a roommate. He meets John, a veteran and doctor. They quickly get along and John earns Miss Hudson’s approval.
