A Study in "Scarlet" ("緋色"の研究 "Hiiro" no Kenkyū) is the first novel written by Yōsuke Saita for the MORIARTY THE PATRIOT series.

Synopsis[]

A certain man saw through Moran's trickery at the pub and caught William's attention. William challenged the man in the name of "fun", but the man demanded they play only a single round of poker with a large amount of money at stake! Aside from this, a number of study notes on the characters' everyday life not depicted in the main story are revealed, such as the time Louis got way into raising the tropical fish he was assigned to take care of and named it "William", the time Albert and Moran had a wine drinking contest, and the time John demonstrated his famous (?) deductive ability in Sherlock's place!
