Sturridge (スターリッジ Sutārijji) works for the Criminal Investigation Department in Scotland Yard. He was appointed by Adam Whiteley as an investigator and bodyguard alongside Robinson.[1]

Sturridge is an older man with dark, styled hair and thick eyebrows. He wears a three-piece suit with a white shirt and dark tie.
Personality[]
Sturridge seems to be a courteous man, happy to work with Whiteley on the investigation.[1]
He deeply cares for his family, going so far as to commit multiple murders in order to ensure their safety. Despite that, he feels horrible for those actions and does not care what happens to him afterwards, letting Whiteley decide if he lives or dies.[2]
Biography[]
Sturridge works for the Criminal Investigation Department in Scotland Yard, where he and Robinson are appointed by Adam Whiteley to investigate the sender of a threatening letters he received. Additionally, they are tasked with protecting him and his family.[1] Sturridge is made responsible for guarding the house.[3]
At some point however, he receives blackmail from Charles Augustus Milverton that his wife and child have been kidnapped. It's demanded that Sturridge kills everyone in the Whiteley household and then confesses the crime to Adam Whiteley to have his family returned safely.[4]
He executes this tearfully, apologizing and saying he has no choice. Sturridge later confesses and asks Adam Whiteley to pass judgement, handing him the knife. Although Whiteley initially can't bring himself to commit murder, he stabs Sturridge in the throat and thus kills him in the end.[2]
