Overview
MORIARTY THE PATRIOT (憂国のモリアーティ YŪKOKU NO MORIĀTI) is a series of light novels written by Yōsuke Saita released by Shueisha (JUMP j BOOKS), telling side stories to the main manga series. Each light novel features at least one illustration by Hikaru Miyoshi, the artist of the main series.
A manga adaptation of the light novels, called MORIARTY THE PATRIOT -The Remains-, began in March 2023.
Synopsis[]
"A little moment of relaxation for the patriots― William's interest is peaked when a man at a bar sees through Moran's cheating method. He challenges the man to a game in the name of "fun", but his request is a one-shot poker match for a large sum of money― The research records that chronicle the days of Moriarty and his team are now available for the first time in a novel version!"
In relation to the main series and spin-off, "The Remains", the events from the perspective of the Moriarty faction are presented as records from Louis' secret diary that he kept hidden in the Durham mansion.
