The `Noahtic` Act 2 (ノアティック号事件 第二幕 Noatikku Gou Jiken Dai Ni Maku) is the seventh episode of MORIARTY THE PATRIOT anime series.
Synopsis[]
William helps to cover up Enders' crime, and Enders believes he is in the clear. As the first ballet performed aboard a sailing vessel takes place, William and the others secretly prepare another production in criminal theatre behind the scenes.
Summary[]
William finds Blitz over Thomas' body. Blitz tries to say that he is a thief, but looking around William comments there is no trace of the room being ransacked and the knife looks expensive, however as he is a nobleman, he believes him. As no one else had seen the crime, William suggests they throw the body into the sea. As they do that, William bumps into Blitz and apologizes. William tells Blitz that will be their secret, meanwhile, Fred and Sebastian used a net to catch Thomas' body.
The next day, as the ballet's first act ends, William visits Blitz and asks him if he was sure that he killed the commoner. Blitz is sure he did, but William shows him that the man is among the audience. Blitz panics and runs downstairs, but the man is no longer in his seat. He asks the people where did the man go and continues to search for him. Fred, who pretended to be Thomas, leads him to a place where Blitz sees Thomas' dead body.
He confirms he is indeed dead and starts kicking the body in anger. Blitz wonders how he survived last night and how he is now dead again. He decides to confirm that Thomas is indeed dead and pulls out the knife and starts stabbing him over and over again. He doesn't realize he is on a platform and its being raised to the stage, where everyone ends up seeing him stabbing the man. As people recognize Blitz, they call him a murderer and realize the stories about him killing men in his hunting grounds are true.
Blitz loses it and starts explaining that he is a nobleman and the commoners are livestock he can kill anytime. A nobleman he knows that is sitting among the commoners disagreed with this, which angers Blitz who then attempts to kill him, but Sherlock prevents him. As Blitz runs, Sherlock looks at Thomas' body, inspecting his jaw, limbs, & fingers, and figures something out. Blitz climbs the mast, thinking that no one will go up with him. Sebastian then shoots his leg and arm with his silent rifle, causing Blitz to loose his grip and fall into the sea. As Blitz falls, he sees William smiling and realizes, too late, that Moriarty had conspired against him.
When the cruise ends, Sebastian informs William that the police will be investigating Blitz's hunting grounds and will end up finding the bones of his victims. Sebastian is surprised everything went so smoothly, however William comments a problem may arise, but still can't ascertain the degree of threat Sherlock poses. William comments that when they disembarked the Noahtic, Sherlock spoke with him.
Sherlock commented about the murder show and that the man was dead 10-15 hours before the on-stage stabbing. They had seen Blitz killing the man, but Blitz was conscious about the man being already dead, but considering the man had died long ago, Sherlock finds this odd. That means Blitz wasn't aware of the man being dead and was led to believe he was still alive, which would mean a third party was involved. Sherlock believes someone set up the whole ship for this act, but doesn't know who or why did it. Before leaving, William asks him about his name and Sherlock reveals its Sherlock Holmes.
