Earl Argleton (アーグルトン伯爵 Āgeruton Hakushaku) is a British nobleman as well as a child-serial killer known famously as the "Chavi Slasher".
Appearance[]
Argleton is a tall and imposing man with an oblong shaped head and brown combed hair and blue eyes. As a nobleman, Argleton dresses in a very sophisticated manner, with a custom designed suit, and a ring bearing his family crest.
Personality[]
Argleton is an absolute monster devoid of any humanity. While his motives for doing so are unknown, Argleton takes eager satisfaction and pleasure in the suffering and murdering of innocent children and the fear they display. While he mostly keeps a front of being calm and regal, he has difficulty hiding his depraved obsession.
Despite his sadism, in his final moments Argleton revealed himself to be a coward, twitching and trying to escape a vengeful Eden.
Biography[]
Argleton is an Earl of nobility and a founding member of the Gastros Club. Unbeknownst to the public, Argleton is a serial killer who targets young boys from commoner family's he interacts with, such as Eden's Tailor, Goldstein Jewellers, R. Masters Clock Smith, Morgan Bros. Company, and Shannon Racing Club.
Argleton hires a corrupt constable to abduct the young boys at night and take them to an abandoned building where he slowly tortures the young boys to death. Once he's finished he disposes of the bodies by leaving them in the middle of the streets for the public to find in the morning.
One of his victims however was an orphan street performer named Cass who would play his concertina in the streets across from the Gastros Club. Argleton would watch the boy from his usual seat by the window. His modus operandi has gained him the name the "Chavi Slasher".
The Earl's Crime[]
After murdering the boy from Eden's Tailor, Argleton spends his next few days at the Gastros Club. While looking out the window, Argleton is interrupted by the arrival of William James Moriarty who wishes to engage in conversation with the Earl. Before Argelton could refuse, William begins to point out all the details about the Earl's appearance, such as his suit tailored by Eden, his jewellery crafted by Goldstein Jewellers, his pocket watch is from R. Masters Clock Smith, his hat from Morgan Bros. Company, and that his horses are stabled at the Shannon Racing Club, and that his taste in music is towards the concertina.
Argleton is initially surprised by his guesses, but as William kept guessing he realizes that William may know about Argleton's dark secret. William deduces that the reason Argelton targets young boys is because they haven't fully developed. Realizing that William has deduced Argleton as the Chavi Slasher, Argelton excuses himself and leaves the Club. Later that day, Argleton orders his constable to follow William and silence him.
Willaim, deducing that Argleton would send someone after him, corners the constable in an alley where Williams partner, Louis, holds the constable at knife point. The constable confesses everything to William who afterwards meets with the father of Argleton's latest victim Eden, revealing Argleton as his son's killer.
Seeing the man filled with lust for revenge, William offers to be Eden's crime consultant, though he warns Eden that he is still committing a crime. Obsessed with vengance, Eden agrees and William has Earl Argelton abducted and brought to the same abandoned building where he murdered his victims. William steps outside and leaves Eden alone with Argelton, now restrained and gagged like his previous victims. Argleton attempts to break free as Eden approaches him with a pair of scissors. After killing Argleton, William closes the doors to the building and leaves the Earl's body inside to rot.
